Itinerary: Cochin – Munnar – Thekkady – Alleppey – Cochin

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin & Local Exploration
Welcome to Cochin (Kochi), where the tranquil backwaters meet the Arabian Sea. Upon arrival, our representative will receive you and assist with check-in at your hotel. After settling in, begin your local sightseeing tour with visits to the Folklore Museum, Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays and Saturdays), the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), St. Francis Church (closed on Sundays), and the Santa Cruz Basilica. Continue on to Fort Kochi Beach to witness the traditional Chinese fishing nets, take a stroll along Marine Drive, and enjoy some shopping at Lulu Mall and local markets. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin to Munnar (Approx. 5 Hours Drive)
After breakfast, check out and head towards the scenic hill station of Munnar. The route itself is picturesque, with stops at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls along the way. Surrounded by lush tea plantations and misty hills, Munnar is a perfect escape for nature lovers. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel or resort and relax. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
Wake up to the serene beauty of Munnar. After breakfast, begin your full-day sightseeing tour. Explore Echo Point, Kundala Lake and Dam, Mattupetty Lake and Dam, and enjoy optional boating activities. Visit the Tea Museum, Tea Gardens, and Tea Factory to learn about the region’s iconic beverage. You can also enjoy an elephant ride (at your own expense). Additional stops include the Rose Garden, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Hydel Park, and scenic photo spots. A visit to Eravikulam National Park (entry at your own cost), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, will complete your day. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady (Approx. 4 Hours) + Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and travel to Thekkady, a charming town on the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border. Check into your hotel or resort upon arrival. Later, visit the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Periyar Lake, offering the chance to spot elephants, sambars, and other wildlife. In the evening, you may choose to explore the local spice plantations or attend cultural shows such as Kathakali or Kalaripayattu (entry at own cost, subject to availability and time). Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey, often called the “Venice of the East” for its intricate network of backwaters. Known for houseboat cruises, boat races, coir products, and marine beauty, Alleppey offers a unique experience. Check in to a houseboat or hotel and enjoy a leisurely backwater cruise through scenic canals and villages. Overnight stay onboard or at your hotel in Alleppey.
Day 6: Alleppey to Cochin – Departure (Approx. 2 Hours)
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Cochin airport or railway station for your journey back home. Leave Kerala with beautiful memories of your time amid nature, culture, and serenity.
